The full name of the school is
Bern University of Applied Sciences, Engineering and Information Technology.
The school is in fact an Engineering College.
I assume administrators are not aware of the KISS principle.

Biography
- Born and raised in the eastern part of Switzerland
- Diplom in Mathematics at the University of Zuerich in 1983
- Doctorate in Mathematics at the
University of Zuerich in 1987
- Teaching and research at the
University of
Utah and
Brigham Young University from 1987 until 1992
- Teaching mathematics since 1992 at the same school, currently named
BFH-TI.
- Teaching Numerical Methods since 2006 at the the University of
Bern for future Masters of Biomedical Engineering.
- Retired in 2023
